CYP Practitioner/Counsellor

Living Well Consortium is recruiting for a CYP Practitioner to work within its children and young people’s service. They will provide therapeutic support to those aged 11-25 experiencing common mental health problems.

The post holder will deliver one to one and group support with the aims of improving the mental health and wellbeing of those accessing the service. They will maintain a safe, professional, and accessible practice as well as contributing to the efficacy of the service as a whole. Additionally, they will work within the organisation’s policies, procedures, and processes to facilitate the safeguarding and welfare of clients. As part of the role, the post holder will also need to liaise with parents and carers as well as working in partnership with organisations such as GPs, CAMHS, and schools.

Furthermore, successful candidates will need to keep accurate and high-quality clinical records. They will also need to participate actively in supervision and team meetings for continuous personal development and service development.

Successful candidates will be qualified as a Children and Young People’s Counsellor.

Outline Terms and Conditions

    • Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
    • Salary: £34,461.81  pro rata per annum
